(a) "Act" means the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, 1997 (24 of 1997);
(b) words and expression used and not defined in these rules but defined in the Act, shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
3. Filing of application .-If any dispute arises among the service providers or between service providers and a group of consumers in respect of matters relating to-(a) technical compatibility and inter-connections between service providers;
(b) revenue sharing arrangements between different service providers;
(c) quality of telecommunication service and interest of consumers.
Then the aggrieved person may make an application referred to in sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Act to the Authority within a period of six months from the date, on which the cause of action arises: Provided that the Authority may entertain an application after the expiry of the said period of six months if it is satisfied that the applicant had sufficient cause for not making the application within such period.You will Never Need a Law Reporter or Back Volumes |
