G.S.R. 427(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 124, read with Sub-section (1) of Section 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central Government hereby approves the Kandla Port Employees (Allotment of Residence) Amendment Regulations, 2006 made by the Board of Trustees of Kandla Port as set out in the Schedule annexed to this Notification.

2. The said Regulations shall come into from the date of publication of this Notification in the Official Gazette.

Schedule

In pursuance of the provision of the Section 28 of the Major Port Trust Act, 1963, the Board of Trustees of the Port of Kandla hereby amends the Kandla Port Employees (Allotment of residence) Regulations, 1964;

1. (i) These Regulations shall be called Kandla Port Employees (Allotment of Residence) Amendment Regulations, 2006.

(ii) These Regulations shall come into force on the date of publication in the Official Gazette of the approval of the Central Government thereto.

2. Substitute the existing Table No. I under Regulation 6 of the Kandla Port Employees (Allotment of Residence) Regulations, 1964 by the following table:

Officers drawing basic pay of Rs. 17501 and above failing which all Class I & II Officers drawing basic pay from Rs. 12601 to Rs. 17500

Type VI (A)

Dy. Chairman and HODs failing which Officers basic pay above of Rs. 17501

3. Substitute the existing Table No. II under Regulation 6 of the Kandla Port Employees (Allotment of Residence) Regulations, 1964 by the following table:
