U.P. Avas Evam Vikas Parishad (Remuneration Payable to The Adhyaksh and Allowances Payable to The Members of The Board) Rules, 1967

(a) 'Act' means the Uttar Pradesh Avas Evam Vikas Parishad Adhiniyam, 1965; and
(b) 'Board' means the Uttar Pradesh Avas Evam Vikas Parishad established under the Act.
3. Remuneration, honorarium, leave, etc. to the Adhyaksh. - (1) The Adhyaksh of the Board shall be entitled to -(a) an honorarium of Rs. 1,000 per mensem, provided that he is not in receipt of any salary or monthly honorarium from the State Government on any other account;
(b) travelling and daily allowance as admissible to First Class Government Officer,
(c) leave on the basis of one month per year.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in these rule, where the Adhyaksh receives an honorarium or holds office in an honorary capacity, he shall receive such of the following facilities as the State Government may, in each case, specify in this behalf:(a) An official residence, costing Rs. 40,000 approximately and furnishings (as in enclosed Schedule) not exceeding Rs. 5,000, without payment of rent. The items of furnishings shall not be replaced unless they have, been declared unserviceable by the Housing Commissioner on the expiry of the period of normal wear and tear. The expenditures on account of annual white washing and repairs and house tax will be paid by the Board. All other taxes and charges of service nature shall be payable by the Adhyaksh;
Or
a residence carrying a standard rent not exceeding Rs.200 per mensem;
Or
if a residence is not provided, a compensatory allowance or Rs. 100 per mensem;
(b) a telephone at his residence;
(c) the use of board's motor car and such allowance fro the maintenance, and running of the car as may be fixed by the State Government or in lieu of such allowance, the actual charges for the maintenance and running thereof, subject to condition that such charges do not exceed Rs. 3,000 per annum;
(d) authority to incur expenditure of a sum not exceeding Rs. 600 per annum on light refreshments to be served in the meetings of the Board.
4. Remuneration to Adhyaksh and Housing Commissioner. - Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules or in the rules regarding condition of service of the Housing Commissioner, the Housing Commissioner appoint as Adhyaksh in addition to his own duties shall receive such of the facilities mentioned in sub-rules (1) and (2) of Rule 3 as the State Government may, in each case specify in this behalf. 5. Allowances to members of the Board. - The members of the Board shall receive travelling and daily allowances for their journeys in connection with the meeting of the Board as admissible to Government Officers of the first class, provided that the members of the Boards who are also members but of the Vidhan Sabha or Vidhan Parishad, shall not draw any railway fare but shall draw daily allowance and incidental charges only when they are not entitled to draw the same from Government.SCHEDULE
