(b) "Commission" means the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC)
(c) Words and expressions used but not defined in these Rules have the same meaning assigned to them in the Act.3. Licence application fee. - (1) Every application under Section 14 of the Act shall be made to the APERC by any person for grant a licence.
(a) to transmit electricity as a transmission licensee; or
(b) to distribute electricity as a distribution licensee; or
(c) to undertake trading in electricity as an electricity trader. In any area as may be specified in the licence, shall be accompanied by an application fee of Rs. 30,000/-(Rupees Thirty thousand only.)(2) The application fee is to be paid in form of demand draft drawn in favour of 'Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission' payable at Hyderabad. (3) The details of demand draft shall be noted in the appropriate column of the application and also the Demand Draft must be enclosed to the application when its is submitted to the Commission. (4) Application for grant of licence which is not accompanied by the application fee will not be accepted. (5) The licence application fee once paid will not be refunded.
