The Bihar Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (Fisheries) Service Recruitment Rules, 1993

(1) "Service" means the Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (Fisheries) Service.
(2) "State Government" means the State Government of Bihar.
(3) "Rules" means Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (Fisheries) Recruitment Rules.
3. Strength of posts, classification and pay scale. - The strength of post, their classification and pay scale of the cadre of services shall be as in columns 2 to 4 of the Schedule. 4. Recruitment. - Recruitment procedures, age limit, qualification and other concerned matters of service shall be as in columns 5 to 11 of the Schedule. 5. Disqualification for appointment. - (1) No person (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or (b) who having spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,shall not be eligible for appointment to the service : Provided that the State Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and there are other grounds for so doing exempt any person from the operation of this rule. (2) A person who is a convict or mentally unsound or declared bankrupt shall not be eligible for appointment to the service. 6. Power of relaxation. - The State Government may relax any of the provision of this rule. Reservation. - The reservation policy of the State Government issued from time to time for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Communities and others shall be followed in case of appointment and promotion to the service.Schedule 1
