The Madhya Pradesh Government Servants (Service Association) Rules, 1967
Published vide Notification No. 2232-160-1 (3) 68, dated 30-1-1968, published in the M.P. Rajpatra, Part 4 (Ga) dated 16-2-1968 at page 183
(a) "State Government" means the Government of Madhya Pradesh;
(b) "Government servant" means any person to whom the Madhya Pradesh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1965 apply.3. The State Government will enter into correspondence with an Association only if it is proved to its satisfaction that such an Association represents not less than 20 per cent of the category or categories of Government servants which it seeks to represent. 4. For the purpose of satisfying itself as to whether any association fulfils the requirement of Rule 3, the State Government may call for such record from the association as it may deem fit and examine the same. The decision of the State Government as to the representative character of the association shall be final.
