The Orissa Destruction of Records (Serologist) Rules, 1961

Notification dated the 23rd March, 1961 - In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (2) (c) (i) of Section 3 of the Destruction of Records Act, 1917 (V of 1917), the State Government of Orissa do hereby make the following rules, namely :
1. Short title. - These rules may be called the Orissa Destruction of Records (Serologist) Rules, 1961.
2. Definition. - Unless the context otherwise requires 'Serologist' means the Serologist and Chemical Examiner to the Government of India.
3. Period of retention. - All records of reports of the office of the Serologist relating to the purpose of the State of Orissa shall be retained for five years and shall be destroyed thereafter.
