The Rajasthan Roller Mills Wheat Products (Ex-Mills and Retail Prices Control) Order, 1976

(a) 'Roller Mill' means a flour mill in which disintegration of wheat is done by groomed steel or iron rollers worked by power;
(b) 'Wheat Products' means Suji (or rawa), maida, atta whole mill, atta or bran produced in roller mill;
(c) 'Dealer' means a person a firm, an association or Co-operative Society engaged in the business of purchase, sale or storage for sale if wheat products;
(d) 'State Government' means the Government of the State of Rajasthan.3. Maximum ex-mill and retail prices of Wheat Products. - No owner or other person incharge of a roller mill or a dealer shall sell or offer for sale, and of wheat products at a price exceeding the price fixed by the State Government for different mills or different areas from time to time. 4. Powers to issue directions. - Every owner or a person incharge of a roller mill or a dealer shall comply with all general or special directions given in writing from time to time by the State Government or an Officer authorised by in regard to prices of wheat products. 5. Powers of entry, examination, search and seizure. - (1) The Collector, Sub-Divisional Officer or Tahsildar or and officer of the Food & Civil Supplies Department not below the rank of Enforcement Inspector or any Police Officer not below the rank of an Inspector or any other officer of any Department not below the rank of an Inspector authorised by the State Government in this behalf, may with a view to secure compliance of this Order or to satisfy himself that this order has been complied with by a dealer-
(a) require the owner, occupier or any other person incharge of any premises, vehicle or vessel in which he has reason to believe that any contravention of this order has been, is being, or is about to be committed to produce any books, accounts or other records showing transactions relating to contravention;
(b) enter, inspect or break open and search any premises, vehicle or vessel in which he has reason to believe that any contravention of the provisions of this order has been, is being or is about to be committed;
(c) take or cause to be taken extract from or copies of any documents showing transactions relating to such contravention which are produced before him.
(d) search, seize and remove stocks of wheat products in respect of which he has reason to believe that a contravention of the provisions of this Order has been, is being or is about to be committed, and thereafter take or authorise the taking of all measures necessary for securing the production of the stocks so seized in a court and for there safe custody pending such production.(2) The provisions of Section 100 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974) relating to search and seizure shall, so far as to searches and seizure under this clause. 6. Exemption. - Subject to such conditions as it may impose, the State Government may, if it is necessary to do so in the public interest by general or special Order, exempt any Roll Mill or dealer from the operation of any or all provisions of this Order. 7. Repeal & Saving. - The Rajasthan Roller Mills Wheat Products (Whole-sale & Retail Prices Control) Order, 1972 is hereby repealed: Provided that such appeal shall not effect anything done or omitted to be done or action under the Order so repealed.
