The Rajasthan Indian Medicine Board Order, 1960
Published vide Notification Gazette of India, Extraordinary, 1960, Part 2, Section 3(i), p. 285(w.e.f. 10th August, 1960).
(a) 'Act' means the Rajasthan Indian Medicine Act, 1953 (Rajasthan Act 5 of 1953);
(b) 'appointed day' means the date of commencement of this Order;
(c) 'Board' means the Board of Indian Medicine, Rajasthan, established under the Act;
(d) "Sironj area" means the territories specified in Clause (c) of sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the States Reorganisation Act, 1956 (37 of 1956).3. Exclusion of Sironj area from the operation of the Board. - As from the appointed day the Board shall cease to function and operate in the Sironj area. 4. Adaptation of the Act. - As from the appointed day, tine Act shall, until altered, repealed or amended by the competent Legislature of the State, have effect subject to the modification indicated below :- Section 1. - After sub-section (3), the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely:-
"(4) As from 10th August, 1960 it shall cease to have effect in the territories which, immediately before the 1st November, 1956, were comprised in Sironj sub-division of Kotah district in the State of Rajasthan.".
