(a) "Authority" means any statutory body or organization, institution etc. under the State Government and also include Public Sector Undertaking, Corporations, Committees, Commissions, Councils, Boards or any other Public Authority under the State Government;
(b) "State" means the State of Sikkim.3. Power to appoint Legislator to different authorities. - (1) Subject to the provisions of any other law in force and in supplement thereto, the State Government may from time to time appoint a Member of the State Legislative Assembly by such designation as may be indicated in the order of the appointment to any authority under the State Government. (2) The incumbent to any authority upon being appointed by such designation, as may be the case, shall have the powers and privileges as may be conferred upon. 4. Validation of all appointment of Legislators to different authorities. - All appointment of Legislators made to different authorities shall always be deemed to have been made under this Act.
